What Is The YES I CAN Collab?

The YES I CAN Collaborative has been created to intentionally build relationships between women entrepreneurs through connection, conversation and community. This includes networking, education and trainings, community events and more.

Why intentionally? Because showing up is just the first step. If you want to grow your business, connection and conversation within a community it where it begins. Making the choice to build relationships, become involved and expand your horizons is intentional. Networking with intention will increase your connections, open up possibilities and opportunities and increase your bottom line by generating sales!

A Collaborative is defined as two or more people working together to develop ideas and processes or achieve a common goal (success!)

The Women’s Collaborative membership includes…

• Coffee & Connections - Two IN-PERSON meetings each month

  Membership is open to those who are willing to commit! We will have 2 in-person networking meetings each month in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. Members are required to attend at least 1 meeting per month. Guests may join us twice before joining the Collab!
  Meetings dates are: 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month, 9am - 10:30am. Torrance. Orange County location to be added soon.

• “Troika” meetings
  What’s a “troika”? When 3 people get together. Each month, members will meet via zoom, coffee or whatever, and learn more about each other and your businesses. They will be assigned and rotated each month so that you get the most exposure AND truly have the opportunity to build relationships with all the members!

• Business & Bubbles - a networking mixer

  This monthly networking mixer is an opportunity for fun while business building. Join us for mixer style networking plus nibbles and drinks. You and your guest(s) will enjoy the casual environment with intentional connections. (Members: FREE, Non-Members $15)

• YES I CAN Academy Access

  We have a library full of trainings - from LinkedIn to writing a book and more. You will gain access to all past trainings by becoming a member.

• Members Directory

  Post your profile in our membership directory. Not only does it allow you to connect with other members, it gives you a backlink to your website and a connect button for them to connect with you without it being spam in your inbox!

• Get it Done Days
  Every other month we will host a get it done day were you can come in to a physical location, meet with other entrepreneurs, brainstorm, bounce ideas and actually get help from a marketing team. It’s all about inspiration that results in implementation!

• Quarterly IN-PERSON training events (Los Angeles/South Bay)

  Accelerate your skills with training from top experts on topics including social media, branding, sales, business strategy, marketing implementation, speaking, automation, finance and so much more! PLUS mastermind with the other women. During these quarterly sessions, we begin with introductions and connections and then take a deep dive workshop approach. These collaborative meetings are just the thing you need to grow your business by growing your connections and opportunities for collaboration. We will host these in-person events with discounted member pricing.
  Next quarterly event: Marketing Made Simple: Content Creation: Thursday, June 15th2nd, 9am - 12noon. FREE/members, $67/non-members

• Quarterly Accountability Challenge

  Ready to make 2023 your year of YES? Each 90 day period includes a goal setting session where you will create goals for the quarter, a “get it done" day, weekly check-ins and an accountability partner if you wish.

• Quarterly 30 minute coaching session

  Members have access to the founder of YES I CAN, Cathy Alessandra, for a quarterly 30 minute private/personal 1:1 coaching session at a special member rate. Cathy is an entrepreneur of almost 30 years with tools, resources and expertise in the areas of business strategy and marketing implementation. She also has the added benefit of being a certified life coach so if something is holding you back, she will help you get to the bottom of it! After being a member for 90 days, you will receive an intake form and calendar link to schedule your coaching session. Whether you need business brainstorming, marketing specifics or personal development tactics, Cathy will devote 30 minutes each quarter JUST FOR YOU and your growth.

Are there membership requirements?

I’m glad you asked! Yes. Because WE are committed to helping you grow and supporting all members, membership requires YOUR commitment to the following:

1. Agree to attend a minimum of 1 Coffee & Connections networking event each month.

2. Participate in one TROIKA each month. Troikas will be assigned at the beginning of each month and must be completed by the end of the month.

   What is a Troika? It is a meeting with 3 members (in-person or virtually) to get to know each other’s businesses on a deeper level to build the trust factor.

3. Referrals - By building the know, like and trust factor with the other members, referrals will result.

Membership is not for you if …

• You are not of the collaborative mindset. We are ALL about collaboration and community - no competition here.

• You fear commitment. We are committed to supporting and nurturing our members - and our members need to be committed to growth.

• You only want to be behind your computer on virtual meetings. While virtual meetings have been a life-saver the last few years, in-person meetings allow for a totally different relationship building experience. Therefore our meetings are in-person.
